The Royals were out in force this week as the Queen, Prince Phillip and their children and grandchildren paid homage to the War Dead. Most of the men were in uniform while the Queen wore a somber black dress and coat, accented with red poppies. November 11 is Remembrance Day in many countries, please honor your veterans and those who died to let you live in peace and freedom.
Meanwhile Prince William has taken on a charity his mother, the late Diana, was a patron of. Centrepoint is an organization helping the homeless in London. William remembered being taken there when he was younger.

Once again Canada is proving it’s scientific muscle and bravery. University of Toronto researchers and Japan’s Kyoto University researchers are teaming up to translate the scientific discoveries in the lab faster and get them working for real cures much sooner. They signed a research sharing agreement recently that will one of the world most celebrated stem cell scientist to Toronto, Dr Shinya Yamanaka. He was the man who found that you could actually use adult stem cells and turn them into embryonic like stem cells. The theory is that by doing so one did not have to travel over the hazerous road that embryonic stem cells caused. His discovery allows scientist to get around the ethics debate that rages on.
Cheers Canada for moving forward. As a Diabetic I hope this come to fuition soon.

The little film that could has people talking. Add the fact that it’s a christian film, and jaws might be dropping. FIREPROOF, was made on about 500,000 dollars and has grossed over 13 million so far. It’s actually been in the top 10 US box office for two weeks now. It’s awsome to see what happens when Christians ban together and support something meaningful.

The quickly becoming buzz about Angie and W Magazine is starting to reach a fever pitch. Here is the soon to be famous cover of Jolie breast feeding one of her babies! Not as scandalous as it sounds or looks as you can see. Still she looks beautiful and the photo and the rest of the images were taken by Brad Pitt himself.

Just stumbled upon this blog, and I have to say I love it.
I enjoy TV reviews, I myself used to review a show, but this site is irreverant and sarcastic. And very well done.
Go and enjoy the episode again THE RECAPIST

Taking a page out of his uncle Andrew’s book, Prince William has decided not to sit around for 30 years and wait for the crown to pass to him. Unlike his father who has been doing nothing but royal engagements for over 30 years William has decided to stay active and pursue a military career. Specifically Search and Rescue. The royal has fallen in love with flying and has decided this is the career for him.
Training will be 18 months followed by at least a 3 yr commitment, baring any injuries etc. From there the prince could continue for as many years as he wants.
Good for him for not following in his father’s mistakes. Charles dropped out too early and ended up leading a miserable life I think. The man was bored to tears.Given the constitution of Queen Elizabeth 2, I think William will be suitably trained by the time he gets the crown. Now what happens to Kate Middleton? Does she become a military wife or wait it out a few years?

Yes Angie and Brad were given a double dose of good cheer late Saturday, as Angie gave birth to a fraternal twins, a boy and a girl! Her doctor Dr. Sussman gave confirmation earlier, saying the birth was by C-Section and that all are doing well. And the names of the little ones?…..Knox Leon, and Vivianne Marcheline, Knox is the name of Brad’s grandfather while Marcheline is of course the name of Angie’s late mother. Congrats to the couple and may they have many joyous years with their children.
